General Motors’ Bob Lutz says ”we kind of lost the first couple of laps of the green car race” because it was going to be a ”multi-hundred million dollar program that was going to lose money.”
Lutz, speaking at the Reuters Autos Summit in Detroit on Tuesday, says ”we didn’t think it was going to be as important as it was so we made a mistake.”
